What’s the point of hurting others when you could love instead?

They may judge us by our appearance, but do they know who and what we are? Do they care? What pleasure do they get by breaking us down?

Us girls have a tendency to gossip – fact (though it doesn’t make it right) , but is it really necessary to break each other down because we aren’t “skinny” (even if it’s a bit of baby fat) or because we aren’t pretty enough? We all have our flaws, nobody is perfect. This is bullying. Yes, maybe you’re not physically bullying that person but you are breaking them down in an emotional way.

I was bullied back in primary school. I was called a boy because I had short hair. It doesn’t seem that bad but I still have complex issues because of that. My mom had a brain tumor and the kids would mock her and say things like “your mom looks like a bold pig” but they didn’t know what was the cause of her hair loss…they judged by appearance and didn’t take the time to get to know what an amazing person my mom is.

Why be known as the girl who wastes her time gossiping about other people or the girl who breaks others down in order to make herself feel better? Why not be known as the girl who had a lot of friends because she took the time to get to know them for who they are and not for what they look like. You’ll be surprised to find that the girl with “ugly teeth” or the “fat girl” is actually an amazing person and while you wasted your time trying to break her down she was busy doing extraordinary things.

Be the better person, make a difference by giving someone a compliment and not an insult.

Selena Gomez has taken the world by storm with her cute, yet sexy looks and amazing voice. Naturally, she jumped on the fragrance bandwagon (as all celebs do) with a bit of a twist – she held a contest where fans could vote for their favorite scents and the name of the new perfume.

The top 10 got to fly to New York to meet Selena and help her decide on the final scents.

So the fragrance, as voted by the public will be made up of:

Raspberry, Purple Freesia and Vanilla

The perfume is set to release in May and Selena has already been working on commercials (image) and branding.

Rihanna turned 24 yesterday and instead of hitting the clubs and crazily partying (as we would expect from the singer), she instead spent the day riding the train and working.

Riri is in London to perform at the Brit awards this week, so she’s been busy rehearsing for her show. We love the fact that she’s humble enough to still ride the train. It’s so cute how her fans showed up outside her hotel to sing happy birthday to her!

Tomorrow isn’t promised…

Losing someone dear to you is heartbreaking, there are no words to describe how much pain and hurt one has to go through. So stop hating and start loving! We aren’t promised tomorrow.

The person you we’re fighting with today might not be here tomorrow and the last thing you said to him/her was most certainly not the last thing you wanted to have them hear.
We have all heard the saying “you never know what you have until its gone”, I thought that there was no way that this was true until it was to late and I lost someone really dear to me.

1. Work it from the inside
Feel confident about yourself because that will certainly show up in a picture. So when your friend takes out her camera phone and screams, “Say cheese, everyone!” don’t grit your teeth and look away. Smile your biggest smile and show the world how gorgeous you can be! 2. Pose makes perfect
Not everyone looks good pulling a goofy face. Likewise, not everyone will look good from a side profile. It helps to do some experimentation of your own with your camera before you find yourself in the situation of being snapped. Take pics of yourself and see when you look your best. Is it when you’re facing the camera head-on? Or is it when you’re looking up at it from the side? Do you look fab when you’re showing off your legs? Or do you look great when you’re standing with your arm on your waist? Strike a pose to find your perfect one.

3. Make it fun
Although you might not think so, the truth is that often the best pictures are taken when you’re snapped unawares. You know, when you’re so busy strumming your guitar at a beach party or you and your mates are laughing together. So just feel stoked and have fun – and forget who’s snapping away. That’s what makes cool pics awesome memories.

The NAACP Image awards took place in the States recently and The Help was the big winner of the night.

Viola took home the image award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for The Help. And Octavia won for Best Supporting Actress in The Help. While the film was named Outstanding Motion Picture. Other winners included, Laurence Fishburne  for outstanding actor in a television movie, mini-series or dramatic special for “Thurgood.” And Tracee Ellis Ross received the award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for “Reed Between The Lines.” Tracee’s dress is so pweety!

South Africa Will host an Olympics in Cape Town and it will be a proud moment for us and even better than the Soccer World Cup.

President Jacob Zuma will not see his term through. Motlaannthe will once again stand in as president for a while.

The A.N.C. will lose power but regain the presidency again but for a term or two a new government will rule.

Nelson Mandela will die just short of his 99th birthday

Robert Mugaba will die and Morgan Tsvangirai will be the new president of Zimbabwe before the next elections.

Barack Obama will be assassinated like J’F.Kennedy and America will be without a President for a month.

Hillary Clinton will become the first female American President and restore their economy before one of America’s youngest presidents precedes her. There will never be another “non-white’ American president again.

The Statue of Liberty will be damaged or destroyed in another natural disaster to hit the east coast, but the American public will either restore her or build a replica.

There will be documents found outlining the destruction of first world landmarks like the Eiffel tower, Big Ben and the Statue of Liberty. But plans will not amount to anything

Australia will experience one of the worst heat waves that’ll claim many livestock.

Jay-Z will campaign to get into the Whitehouse as the next black president.

He and Beyoncé will have a son next, called Benjamin or something close to that.

William and Kate will divorce next Year, he will find love later in his life like his father.

Harry will Marry Chelsea but divorce many years later like his uncle Andrew and Fergie.

Beatrice will come out as a lesbian and Eugenie will have a really embarrassing sex tape scandal like her mum.

Britney Spears will commit suicide next year when her ex bodyguard releases his tell all book about her. Kevin will then take the kids and actually be a good dad.

Two more celebrities will die before this year ends one being Kate Moss from a drug overdose and George Michael.

Mariah Carey’s daughter will be a famous singer like her mom.

Posh and becks will eventually split and their daughter will be quite the little fashion icon

Brad and Jen will get back together when he leaves Angie and they will have a kid together. Angie will adopt yet another baby.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Patterson will get married and star in another movie together that’s does not involve twilight.

Lee-Ann Liebenberg will have another daughter called Ella or Eloise. Jo-Ann Strauss will have a girl and Jeannie D a little boy.

Bobbi Kristina will have daughter that will be the splitting image of Whitney in looks and talent. She will return the music back to their family.

Michael Jackson’s youngest son Blanket will be the next little Michael. He will show us that he inherited his father’s genes and Paris will also be in the entertainment industry and take after her Aunty Janet. Prince will make one song or album but rather stay in the background producing, as he is the shy one and not comfortable in the spotlight.

Justin Bieber will sadly join the 27 club.

Elton John will survive a really bad accident.

We could see Charles becoming king very soon and Harry being on the throne instead of William.

American Idol will run for 27 seasons and not 30 like originally planned.

Oprah Winfrey will marry Stedman but they will divorce and she will get with Tyler Perry after their affair is made public. Her school here will close down after yet another scandal rocks the academy.

I will someday win a Tony for a theater production I will be in.

Jennifer Hudson will also win a Toni for her portrayal of either Whitney or Etta James in a Theater production.

Whitney will win an Oscar for her portrayal in Sparkle and Jordan Sparks will accept it on her behalf. They will also make a movie or theater production about the diva’s life, like they did for Princess Diana and MJ.

Charlize Theron will win another Oscar.
